Pink Poodle Society Amsterdam — A Physical Space for Art & Community

Dieser Beitrag ist auf Englisch veröffentlicht.

During the RIPE Experience in Amsterdam, AETH. Collective was invited by Monica Sharon Manarino, founder of Pink Poodle Society, to document a weekend centred around art, creativity and connection.

Pink Poodle Society is more than a creative platform.

It is a physical space — a place that comes to life through collaboration with artists, creatives and people who bring different perspectives into the same environment.

Creating Space for Artists

Monica works together with different people to find and create physical spaces where artists can present their work, exchange ideas and simply be.

The space itself becomes part of the experience.

A place where creative expression does not have to follow a fixed format.

This idea was at the heart of the RIPE Experience in Amsterdam.

Over the weekend, more than 400 people and over 70 artists came together, turning the space into a living environment of art, conversation and creative expression.

Paintings, sculptures, perfume, readings, cocktails and different artistic experiences existed alongside one another.

Rather than creating a traditional exhibition, Pink Poodle Society creates an environment where people can meet, experience art and become part of something together.

For Monica, the space is not simply a location.

It is about creating a place where people can feel present, connect with others and express themselves.

With a background in dance, Monica also sees Pink Poodle Society as something that can move between people, places and forms of expression.

The physical space becomes the starting point — a place where community can gather and new connections can form.

Beyond the Event

This was the story AETH. Collective wanted to capture.

Instead of documenting Pink Poodle Society simply as an art event in Amsterdam, the project became a personal portrait of Monica and the idea behind the space she is building together with others.

After the RIPE Experience, AETH. Collective sat down with Monica and asked one central question:

How do you envision Pink Poodle Society as a dance movement?

The interview allowed the project to look beyond the event and into the vision behind the creative community — the people, spaces and connections that give Pink Poodle Society its identity.

The result is a visual portrait of Monica, Pink Poodle Society and the physical spaces created for artists to come together.

A space to meet.A space to create.A space to be.
