Pecoranera — Where Material meets the Landscape

High above Val Gardena, in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, at around 3,000 metres, the landscape becomes raw, vast and almost otherworldly.

It was here, at Passo Pordoi, that AETH. Collective and Milanese fashion studio Pecoranera came together to create a cinematic fashion film where clothing, material and nature become part of the same visual language.

Together with model Ellen Larcher, the fashion campaign was developed and produced within just half a day.

Rather than constructing an artificial set, the creative concept was rooted entirely in the South Tyrolean landscape — its raw stone, natural textures, wind and openness.

When Fashion Meets the Dolomites

The idea was to create a visual dialogue between the garments and their surroundings.

The structures of the Dolomites echo the textures and forms of the collection, while the mountain wind activates the fabric.

Silhouettes shift. Materials flow. Each garment responds to the landscape around it.

The mountains were never intended to function simply as a backdrop.

They become an active element of the film — creating scale, contrast, texture and movement.

The raw mountain environment allows the clothing to feel connected to something larger, giving the fashion film a sense of freedom, simplicity and place.

A Production Built Around Place

The visual direction and film production were led by Benno Schivari, founder of AETH. Collective, who also took on camera direction and cinematography.

Isabel Dialer, co-founder of AETH. Collective, contributed through styling, make-up and behind-the-scenes production.

Ellen Larcher brought the Pecoranera collection to life as talent and model.

Created in the heart of the South Tyrol Dolomites and produced within a single half-day, the project became a study in simplicity.

The location, material and movement were allowed to carry the story.

No artificial set.No unnecessary distractions.Just fashion, wind, stone and space.

Material meets landscape.Texture meets movement. The garment becomes part of the land.
