Mono Paris — Ceramics, Art & Creative Atelier

Mono Paris ceramics atelier and artists during Paris Fashion Week

During Paris Fashion Week, the city moves at an unrelenting pace.

Between fashion shows, presentations, events and the constant rhythm of the international fashion industry, AETH. Collective wanted to look somewhere else — towards smaller studios, quieter spaces and the people who create outside the main circuit.

One of those places was Mono Paris — an atelier and creative space bringing together art, ceramics and individual perspectives in the heart of Paris.

Two Artists, One Atelier

AETH. Collective visited Mono Paris to meet two artists: Lorraine Grouvel, originating from France, and Eri Maeda, who comes from Japan.

Two different cultural backgrounds. Two distinct creative approaches.

United by their work with ceramics and their connection to the Mono Paris atelier.

The idea was never to arrive with a script or a predefined story.

Instead, we wanted to observe.

To give the artists space to speak about their work, their inspirations and their relationship with ceramics — and to allow the story to develop naturally through the camera.

Inside Mono Paris

The atelier itself became part of the narrative.

Materials, ceramic objects, hands at work, textures and the small details of the creative process created a visual language that felt intimate and unforced.

Within just three hours, the project was created on location at Mono Paris.

Benno Schivari, founder and director of AETH. Collective, led the film production.

Isabel Dialer, co-founder of AETH. Collective, contributed to the creative direction and behind-the-scenes production.

Julian Lesina Debiasi joined the team for BTS and B-camera, allowing the creative process to be captured from multiple perspectives.

The result is a visual portrait of Mono Paris that feels less like a conventional fashion film and more like a glimpse into the world behind the objects.

It is about the people who make them. The materials they work with. And the ideas that exist between hands, clay and form.

A Quieter Side of Paris

Mono Paris became a place where art, ceramics and personal expression could exist together — a quieter side of Parisian creativity that can easily disappear beneath the energy of Paris Fashion Week.

What began as a simple visit during Paris Fashion Week became an opportunity to create a visual story around two artists, their craft and the creative world of Mono Paris.

Away from the runways, fashion shows and noise of the Fashion Week schedule, AETH. Collective found something more intimate.

A studio.Two artists.Ceramics.Inspiration.And the freedom to create.

A moment to slow down.To observe. To create. To let the work speak for itself.
